No doubt, there are distinct types of lettuce that are commonly found in markets, each with its unique flavor profile and nutritional benefits. Iceberg

Iceberg is a type of lettuce that is often bought in the United States. It has a crispy texture and a mild, slightly sweet, fresh flavor.  Best of all, this lettuce is low in calories; a cup of shredded iceberg lettuce has about 5 calories. This variety also has a reliable source of vitamin K, folate, and potassium. 

Romaine

Romaine is another popular type of lettuce. It has a long shape and crisp white base which has a crunchy texture. Romaine lettuce has a slightly bitter taste and is often used in salads, sandwiches, and wraps. It is an excellent source of vitamins A, C, and K, as well as folate, Vitamin B6, and potassium. Romaine lettuce is the perfect lettuce base for your salads and sandwiches.

Boston
