Fat soluble vitamins are dissolved in oil, require dietary fat in order to be utilized properly, and can be stored in the body’s fatty tissue and in the liver. They include Vitamins A, D, E, and K.

Water soluble vitamins are soluble in water and require it to carry out their functions. They cannot be stored in the body and need daily replacement through our diet.
